As animal rights activist Meowrice Paws was smoking a cigarette and drinking his morning coffee, a local stray cat was rolling around on its back next to him, back and forth, in an affectionate manner in front of him trying to get his attention. As the cat continued to roll around trying to gain his affection and attention, very nonchalantly a rabbit comes out of nowhere, as if he’s on a stroll. As Meowrice is watching the rabbit, he thinks to himself, what will be the cat’s reaction once she notices him?

Eventually she does notice him and immediately switches from cute flirt mode to killer instinct mode. The chase lasted for about 5 seconds before she took him down and snapped his neck initiating a quick kill. As the cat dragged the rabbit, who was twice her size, into the woods to be devoured for a yummy breakfast, Meowrice thought to himself, is it any wonder or even a surprise that the ancient Egyptians worshiped these creatures?

The most common misconception or accusation agains cats is that they are not loyal as compared to dogs. That couldn’t be further from the truth says Meowrice! Have a complete stranger or even the mail man walk up to your dog with a piece of meat or some treats and you’ll see just how loyal your dog really is.

Dogs simply allude loyalty while cats take it to a whole new level by actually proving loyalty. A cat will go out of its way to commit murder, and not even for food or the thrill of the hunt, then bring that corpse to your front doorstep, sit there and wait for you to come out in order to witness the homicide remains.

And as you’re looking at the dead rodent and the cat with your hands out indicating "WTF?," the cat looks right back at you with a cold serious stare as if it’s speaking to you telepathically saying:

“O Great Don, is this tribute that I have brought you worthy of your greatness? Great Don, you give me foods, you give me sleeps, you give me back rubs and massages that were never requested, is this offering worthy of your greatness O great Don?”

Cats have etiquette says Meowrice; that is undeniable. A dog will literally and with absolutely no shame, take a dump right in front of you, on the sidewalk, and then keep walking as if nothing had happened. Not cats! Cats have manners, because cats are decent people!

A cat will first take a look to the left, and then take a look to the right, to make sure there are no witnesses. Once it’s sure that the coast is clear, they will dig a hole, do its dirty business, then bury the hole as to not leave any evidence, and quietly bounce. Do you know why? Because cats have manners! Cats are decent people!

Do you live alone? Have you ever had the desire to get a roommate in order not to be alone but hesitate on pulling the trigger because you don’t want to deal with all of the baggage that comes with having a roommate? Get a cat! It’s a win-win situation.

Boundaries and territory are clearly defined when you have a cat. The bathroom and bedroom is your turf, the cat gets the kitchen and the balcony. The living room is a North Korea style DMZ (demilitarised zone), evenly split between the two of you 50/50.

When you come home, you take a seat on the couch, he or she hops up and sits right next to you, but they don't get too close, they know where the border is. And as you look at the cat you nod your head upwards indicating, “What’s good?” They turn their head sideways and reply, “Meow Meow.” You reply right back, “My man! Let’s watch some TV.”

As opposed to coming home tired, to a dog, and as soon as you walk through the door and the dog is all over you, all you’re thinking to yourself is, “Ah. Not this attention seeking whore!”  It's for these reasons dogs should be stripped of their title as "Man's best friend" and have the title be transferred to its rightful owner, the fluffy feline menace.
